Atira Community Legal Clinic provides a wide array of legal services to low-income women.
The clinic is open to helping prospective clients with the following matters:
- Aboriginal law (assistance with settlement claim forms)
- Income Assistance (PWD, OAS, Government benefit supplements)
- Police Complaints
- Human Rights
- Employment (assistance with making Employment Standards Branch complaints)
- Family
- Tenancy
- Judicial review

Our legal team will then add you to a call/email back list to reach out and book an appointment to discuss your matter in more detail to determine how we can help.
Atira Community Legal Clinic also hosts a monthly drop-in session on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 1pm – 3pm. To be considered for this drop-in session, please arrive by 1pm. There will be a lottery draw for appointments and those selected will have appointments for that drop-in session. If you are not selected, you are welcome to try again at the next drop-in session and/or leave your information on the call/email back list to book an appointment.
Clients are welcome to come in, call, or email anytime during opening hours and one of hour staff will do our best to help.
