Maxxine Wright Second Stage
Maxxine Wright Second Stage Transition House Program opened in late December 2010 and offers 24 units of supported, affordable transitional housing to early parenting women; women who are pregnant and or who have at least one child under the age of two. Women can stay for up to two years.
The Second Stage program has six full-time and one part-time staff who are on shift seven days a week starting as early as 8:30 a.m. and staying at late at 8:30 p.m. Positions include a Program Manager, Family Well Being Workers, child/youth care workers. Program staff work closely with the other Maxxine Wright Place programs to enhance services.
