About

Pan-Canadian Voice for Women’s Housing (PCVWH) is a national-in-scope project that is born out of an annual symposium for women across Canada, where discussions have focused on housing policy with an intersectional lens and a goal to make women-focused housing a priority. The symposium has been held annually since 2017.

Since then, we have facilitated urgent and timely discussions, developed calls to actions and made recommendations to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and the National Housing Strategy through an intersectional and inclusive gender lens.

For more information, please check out the PCVWH website.

Advisory Circle

Our annual symposium is planned this year by our 2021 Advisory Circle; 11 influential women with extensive experience in advocating and creating safe and equitable housing for women and children, inclusive of women with lived expertise.
