Atira Development Society is hosting a preapplication open house to seek community input for our preliminary development at 450 Alexander Street.
The idea for this project is to develop a 16-storey, family-oriented mixed-income housing building (160 feet), with a total of 190 units, 1,559 SF of residential amenity space, 6,121 SF of social enterprise (commercial/ office) space, and a 30-space childcare with outdoor space. The total proposed floor area is approximately 146,452SF with an FSR of 6.00. Please note all numbers are approximate.
The rezoning proposal is been considered under the Downtown Eastside Plan and the Rezoning Policy for the Downtown Eastside. In keeping with the provincial government’s health order to practice physical distancing to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we will be hosting this engagement online.
Through a live online video presentation, you will be able to hear from our project team and to ask questions.

- Join a video presentation and live Q&A session
Visit the www.atira.bc.ca/450Alex on Jan 7th, 2021 6pm-8pm a few minutes prior to the start time and follow the guide to join the presentation. The project team will provide a short presentation on the proposal followed by a Q&A period.
