Rogan

Communities need families like Rogan’s in order to flourish. The 51-year-old has lived in the Downtown Eastside since 1991 and he and his partner, Kim, have been together for about five years. They started their life together at The Cosmo, in a small two-room unit with a shared bathroom. Rogan and Kim moved recently to The Heatley, which Rogan also manages. The couple, and children 13-year-old Christmas and 12-year-old Mickee, participate in the community and are proud of their efforts to try to improve the building and the neighbourhood. They are happy in their new home and feel healthier for being there.
