The provincial crown agency works with non-profit societies and community groups to provide clean, safe and supportive housing in 23 SRO hotels in the Downtown Eastside. These buildings, acquired in 2007, are being renovated with non-profit operators providing support services to help tenants break the cycle of chronic homelessness. |
