This exhibition aims to profile Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood and to portray the area’s citizens as individuals who are part of a courageous and caring community. Inspired by the people who live and work in government-owned single room occupancy (SRO) hotels, Real People, Real Lives focuses on 12 individuals whom award-winning photographer Michael Bednar followed for more than a year.
