Atira Announces Donna-Lynn Rosa, CEO, Recognized as One of the Ones to Watch at Vancouver Power 50 Magazine Award, Reinforcing Leadership and Vision for the Future

Vancouver, BC – Atira is proud to announce that Donna-Lynn Rosa (she/her), CEO, has been recognized as “One to Watch” in Vancouver Magazine’s 2025 Power 50 List. This marks Rosa’s third recognition by Vancouver Magazine, but the first in her as Atira’s CEO.

Since stepping into this position in April 2024, Rosa has driven strategic change at Atira.  Under her leadership, Atira has made remarkable strides in governance, health and safety, financial stability, and operational efficiency.

In her acceptance speech, Rosa passionately addressed the importance of supportive housing: “I speak for all of Vancouver’s supportive housing sector when I say the answer to ‘not enough’ is not ‘less’ – it is ‘more.’ When people are ready to step up and make real change, Atira will be ready to collaborate.”

Rosa’s leadership extends beyond Metro Vancouver, with a far-reaching vision for sector-wide change. Notably, Atira’s 7th annual Pan-Canadian Voice for Women Housing symposium will take place in February 2025, and continues to advocate for safe, accessible housing for women, children, and gender-diverse individuals on a federal level.

In celebration of this milestone, Atira invites readers to review Rosa’s 200-Day Report and Atira’s 2023-2024 Impact Report—both showcasing the of the organization’s significant progress under her leadership. These reports highlight key achievements and outline a strategic vision that will continue to shape the Atira’s future.
