In 2022 we committed to updating our Women’s Health and Safety in Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Hotels managed by APMI report, authored by PhD student Sarah Ortiz Escalante in 2013. We are pleased to post our completed updated report, and grateful to 2022 PhD student Maram Alkawaja for all of her work. The primary purpose of this report is to help us understand both what we are doing well and what we need to work on in order to support women living in Atira managed SROs to be safe.
