Volunteer Spotlight: Zarifa Andani

Zarifa currently supports Enterprising Women Making Art by facilitating workshops!

“My name is Zarifa Andani. As Grace Machine, I make jewelry from objects lost and found, and love nurturing harmonious connections between parts and pieces. I am grateful for the opportunity to volunteer at EWMA —to share, to learn, to make, and to witness the process of creative discovery, alongside women and in community.

At our EWMA program, volunteers can come into our art studio and lead free art workshops for the women who access this program. We publish a monthly calendar of art workshops and all women from the community are invited to attend these workshops as long as we have enough open spaces to also ensure social distancing.”
