Thank You for everyone who attended the BBQ at Atira's Commmunity Garden!
We'd like to give a big thank you to everyone that came to the neighbourhood BBQ at the Atira Community Garden on June 24th! Residents, staff and Strathcona community members alike came together for a fun afternoon of eating and mingling.
This amazing garden would not have been possible without the very generous time and efforts of Mount Cheam Secondary School, CDC Construction, Eco Soil, West Coast Seeds, Stellar Seeds, Projects in Place, Ukraine Hall and Vancouver Public Spaces. We would also like to thank the Strathcona Community Center for sponsoring our park bench and memorial plaque.
Much appreciation is also extended to the Vancouver Police Department, specifically Laura, Linda, West and Aaron for tending the grill. To everyone that has, in one way or another, lent a helping hand, thank you for making the BBQ and community garden a success!
